Free Day Of Dental Care In New Jersey

Eastern Dental a family practice dental office is giving back to the community by having a free day of dental care for children from the ages of 4-12. It is a part of their “Give Kids A Smile!” promotion.

SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

No walk-ins will be accepted as participating locations, twenty-one (21) of them are not able to take walk-ins.  All services on “Give Kids A Smile!” day are free. “Give Kids A Smile!” is part of National Children’s Dental Access Day. I didn’t even know there was such a day. It is a program of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Assistants Association and the American Dental Hygienists Association.

HELPING THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD IT

According to Aaron Feiler, D.M.D giving back to the community that has supported Eastern Dental is so important and is the reason why they do it. This program helps a lot of New Jersey  children who greatly need dental care but cannot afford it.

DATE AND CONTACT INFORMATION

Friday February 1, 2013 is the date. Parents/Guardians must be present with child(ren). To schedule an appointment for your child at one of their 21 locations located throughout New Jersey call  1-800-982-5529.

Since many of the schools that I consult with are in under served and low income areas I am hoping that something like this will help. Please don’t procrastinate or put it off but act now. If you have to program it in your phone or computer so that you’ll remember do it now while it is fresh in your mind.

I also have a free ebook on healthy eating and weight loss available at our Healthy Kids Weight Loss site at http://www.healthykidsweightloss.com . It has great tips on preventing obesity before it starts and also things that can be done to reverse any current weight issues.

  1. What an awesome resource. Taking care of our teeth is so important. I have had pain in my teeth in the past and have needed dental care on top of regular visits. It is sad to think that not all people have the resources to take care of their teeth with regular visits. Thank you for sharing this resource to people in your community. They will appreciate it.
