Free Day Of Dental Care In New Jersey

Eastern Dental a family practice dental office is giving back to the community by having a free day of dental care for children from the ages of 4-12. It is a part of their “Give Kids A Smile!” promotion.

No walk-ins will be accepted as participating locations, twenty-one (21) of them are not able to take walk-ins.  All services on “Give Kids A Smile!” day are free. “Give Kids A Smile!” is part of National Children’s Dental Access Day. I didn’t even know there was such a day. It is a program of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Assistants Association and the American Dental Hygienists Association.

According to Aaron Feiler, D.M.D giving back to the community that has supported Eastern Dental is so important and is the reason why they do it. This program helps a lot of New Jersey  children who greatly need dental care but cannot afford it.

Friday February 1, 2013 is the date. Parents/Guardians must be present with child(ren). To schedule an appointment for your child at one of their 21 locations located throughout New Jersey call  1-800-982-5529.

Since many of the schools that I consult with are in under served and low income areas I am hoping that something like this will help. Please don’t procrastinate or put it off but act now. If you have to program it in your phone or computer so that you’ll remember do it now while it is fresh in your mind.

I also have a free ebook on healthy eating and weight loss available at our Healthy Kids Weight Loss site at http://www.healthykidsweightloss.com . It has great tips on preventing obesity before it starts and also things that can be done to reverse any current weight issues.

Great Resource I Found For Fundraising

I ran across this really interesting site that could really make fund raising a blast. It’s called Ready Set Quiz and can be found at http://www.readysetquiz.com . This was something that was so new to me, I didn’t realize that people had mini fundraisers like teas and brunches and lunches where they get together just to raise money.

I thought about all of the little leagues, dance clubs and studios as well as preschools and private and public schools that are always trying to raise money, not to mention other types of organizations and gatherings or just events that you want to add a little fun to. For example at kiddie parties held at the home or out usually the adults are just sitting around making small talk or just watching the children. There can be a time for the adults to have a little fun with some trivia.

You don’t even have to think of the questions. That’s what I thought was so great about this site they do it all for you. Isn’t that great, one less thing that you have to do.  To me this seemed like something you could do for all ages. Sounded like a lot of fun to me which is why I am sharing it. Let me know how you make out I would love to hear from you.
